13 weeks!

I am on Spring Break this week so I thought I would write and extra post. Today I am 13 weeks 2 days. We found out at the doctor appt. on Monday that we could find out the gender in 3 weeks! So, my next appointment is April 14th. I will see the doctor for my 16 week checkup and then get an ultrasound. We can't wait! Now that it is getting closer we are trying to narrow down the NAMES!
We talked yesterdaty and wrote all of our picks and I think we have came to a decision/ (As of today!) lol. If it's a little boy, his name will be Brody Ross Long.  If it's a little girl the name will be Braylea Rose Long or Brayleigh Rose Long. (Can't decide on the spelling we like best!) Boy or girl the baby's initials will be BRL.  =) 

We are also excited for the gender reveal party. We moved it up to April 19th. I can't decide if I want to be surprised at the party along with everyone else or have it be a special moment for Jacob and I at the doctor's office. Hmmm.. decisions decisions!  

Speaking of decisions, we need to start cleaning at the nursery and making room for baby stuff. I am writing this in our "nursery" or junk room right now. We still have so much stuff to get rid of! Jacob is going to get a new outbuilding so most of the stuff will probably find a new home there until we sell it. 

Yesterday my friend Marissa and I went shopping near Pittsburgh and I got the cutest swimsuit coverup to take the the beach. It says "BEACH BUMP" I think it's my favorite maternity purchase so far! I also bought some dress capris to wear to work. 

Alright, time for me to go and take the dogs outside and do laundry. Boo! Here are a couple recent pictures from the past week.

12 Weeks 6 days!

I am 12 weeks 6 days today! Only 28 weeks left until we meet our little "plum".(that's the size it will be growing this week!). My bump is getting a little bigger and my pants are definitely tighter. I bought my first pair of maternity capris over the weekend. Now if it would just get warm enough to wear them! This momma to be to READY FOR SUMMER AND SUNSHINE!!!!!! I also ordered some other things from motherhood maternity.com and it shipped today. Yippee! Growing out of my clothes made me nervous at first but buying new things is always fun.

One thing I've noticed this week is that I am staying hungrier more often. I ate strawberries when I got home from work about an hour ago and now I am starving again! I am trying to hold off because we are going to eat Mexican with our friends in about an hour. Mexican food.. yummmm! This is also mine and Marissa's (my good friend from work) birthday dinner. I already had an awesome early birthday dinner with John R. and Katrina at the Cheesecake Factory on Saturday, but I am pregnant! I am allowed to have a few birthday dinners. =) Speaking of eating, I need to weigh myself again but I am really dreading it! I think I will just wait to be weighed at my 13 week dr. appt. on Monday.

I am excited about the appointment. I really hope we get to hear the baby's heartbeat again! And schedule the gender ultrasound. I am hoping to find out the gender by the end of April so we can have our gender reveal party in May! Katrina has so kindly volunteered to have it at her house. I am excited!

How far along are you? 12 weeks 6 days

How big is Baby? Size of peach! 2.9 inches long

Weight Gain? Still about 4 lbs. I go to the Dr. today so I'm sure I will have an update!

 Gender? Momma doesn't have a preference! *Little girl clothing is very cute though! ;)

Maternity Clothes? Yes! I went to motherhood maternity and bought 2 pairs of capris and ordered some jeans and other things online. I also got all kinds of awesome new maternity outfits for my birthday! (Thanks Mom and Mamaw!!)

Stretch Marks? No, I am using Aveeno moisturizing lotion to hopefully prevent them.
 

Sleep? I am sleeping normal. This week my frequent bathroom trips are slowing down. =)

Symptoms at 12/13 weeks?

• Still have better smell
• Hungry more often
• Small bump

Movement? Last night (my birthday!) I thought I felt a little flutter but it was probably just gas. 

Food Cravings? Wendy's French fries and coke!

Labor Signs? nope

Belly Button in or out? inny

What I am looking forward to? Finding out the baby's gender!!

Best moment of the week? The best moment this week was finding a crib we love at Burlington near Pittsburgh.

10 weeks! 25% Complete!

I am now 10 weeks pregnant! I am finally starting to notice a little bump that isn't just bloating after I eat. This week (which is now the 11th week), our baby is 1.5 inches long and is the size of a prune. It's arms and legs are still growing and can now bend and move! However, the movement isn't enough for me to feel yet. If our baby is a boy, it is developing testosterone this week! And a girl is developing her ovaries that already have estrogen hormones! Boy or girl , our baby is growing like crazy! Here are our 10 week pictures, followed by the survey!

Maternity Clothes? Not yet, but I did buy a new bra and undies!

Sleep? I am sleeping normal. I do make a middle of the night bathroom trip now.

Symptoms at 10 weeks?

• Still have better smell

• Small bump/bloat

What I am looking forward to? My bump to start showing for real and my doctor's appt. on March 24th

Best moment of the week? The best moment this week was walking through stores browsing at baby things and talking about baby names! (it's so hard to decide!!)
